Borscht

This film explores the tension amongst various Eastern European and Balkan nations through the methaphor of preparing borscht- a dish prevalent in multiple cuisines but with slight variations.

The characters spend most of the story covered in soup, which required a high level of distressing, artificial vegetable bits, fake broth, a lot of multiples, and careful attention to continuity.

The project was tricky but infinitely more exciting since the characters had to appear to be dripping with borscht without the actors actually having to spend days on end in wet costumes.
